On the 4th of April, Allégade 11 in Frederiksberg was transformed into the ultimate DM dream. After months of planning and three very chaotic (and slightly sweaty) hours of decorating, DM Union welcomed 170 students into a night of glam, glitter, and unforgettable moments.
Our stunning Union!
The dinner tickets sold out in 20 minutes. TWENTY. MINUTES. That’s how you know this was the event of the year!

The beautiful people of Social and Partnerships that made this happen.
And to top it all off, our amazing photographer followed us throughout the night, working hard to capture just how stunning (and occasionally unhinged) everyone looked.

The evening kicked off with a bang – literally. Union member William attempted to sabre open a bottle of champagne… but instead shattered the entire thing, drenching the red carpet and officially setting the tone for the chaos to come.
Peak performance?
Guests arrived at 19:00 and by 20:00 everyone had taken their seats for a delicious two-course dinner. But before the food arrived, DM Union President Margrét and Event Organiser Cassandra opened the evening with a warm welcome speech. Not long after, fellow organisers Phoebe and Anna took over the mic to present this year’s DM Nominations, each one celebrated with a short, heartfelt, or hilariously savage speech.

Give it up for…
This year’s winners:

Mr. & Mrs. DM: Hugo Steg and Margrét María Marteinsdóttir

Best dressed: Josephine Schade-Sørensen and Magnus Cooper (who also won Class Clown)

Tables full of drinks, food, friends and joy

Some call it photogenic, we call it natural talent
After the final applause and a round of desserts (a heavenly white chocolate mousse with pickled ginger, crushed pistachio and fresh berries), the Gala took a wild turn in the best way possible — the iconic Mamma Mia game began. The entire room sang Lay All Your Love on Me with unmatched passion, as tradition demands.
By 22:30, tables were moved outside, the bar was buzzing, and the dance floor came alive. Some slipped away for a fresh breath of air, while others showed up just in time for the late-night party. DJs, dancing, and chaotic energy carried us all throughout the night!

A massive thank you to everyone who came, dressed up, cheered, danced, sang, and celebrated with us. Thank you to everyone who helped make this night happen from setup to speeches to clean-up. Huge shoutout to our DJs Ísak Helgi Tryggvason, Peetu Toivianen and Carl David Gummig who kept the party going, and to Ólöf Helga Þórmundsdóttir for capturing the night so beautifully!
