On the weekend of Halloween, DM Union hosted its most anticipated event of the semester: the Halloween Party at Copenhagen Downtown Hostel. The venue got a full spooky makeover thanks to our union members, who went all in with the decorations. We’re talking skeletons 💀, dead bodies ⚰️ and tons of spiderwebs 🕸️ (maybe even too many?) setting the stage for a night of spooky fun, creative costumes, and unforgettable memories.
Now let’s talk costumes because WOW. We had everything—from American Psycho 🪓 lurking in the corner to Neo from The Matrix 🕶️ dodging drinks on the dance floor. Disney characters were out in full force (villains and princesses living in harmony… who knew?👸🦹♀️), and we even spotted The Hangover’s iconic dad strolling around, baby carrier and all 👨🍼. Men in Black👽 were keeping everyone “safe,” or at least pretending to, and let’s not forget the many wild and creative getups that made choosing the winners almost impossible. But, in the end, two lucky winners took home the prize scoring free tickets to our upcoming Christmas Dinners Event and a round of free drinks.
One of the highlights of the night was our collaboration with LightBooth 📸. The photo booth was a massive hit, capturing unforgettable moments whether it was group shots, goofy poses, or people trying to squeeze in last-minute snaps. Those pics are definitely going to haunt our group chats for a while (in the best way)🎞️
Overall, the night was an absolute blast. The turnout was incredible, making the dance floor packed, the vibes immaculate, and honestly, still making us giggle at some of those costume choices. Huge thanks to everyone who came and made it a night we’ll never forget. Can’t wait to see you all at the Christmas Dinners for the next round of DM Union magic✨
